I would have to say vocals. cause you need a singer with a voice that can match the sound of your band, you can always change your sound, not your singers voice...

I said the drummer since he/she is the ebat of the band. My brother and cousin said the bassist cause they are the rythm and without rhythm there will be nothing to base the band nor song off of!

Yeah thats why they suck and all their music sounds the same. Much like lets see....Most bands hmmm trying to think of a good example...Well Blink 182 all their songs sound the same and thats not good.

you need drums for a beat guys, along with a bassist. and a guitarist(lead). yoy can do intsrumentals for other bands to use....lol but you need all components. I said drums.
