I heard some of their music and I say it wasnt worth the download or listen at all. I dont know they are not my thing. Where are they from anyways and what type of music do they play?

Oh my god! Why didn't I start this thread? I saw them live and I loved them so much that I bought their album afterwards!! They are from England, the singer is Conor Oberst and he is a great story teller.  Every song is a tale, an anecdote, a story or whatever. It's a mixture of story telling and making awesome music. I know it's not loud or anything but it's intelligent and that's what I love so much about it! Btw, at the concert the singer of Bright Eyes had a little discussion with some Metallica fans.. very funny. And besides he was drunken what made it even more funny! ;D |

Yeah I remember the song that I heard was more of a story but I dont understand why they are called a band when they tell stories with background music. and to tell you something the background music isnt that good more on the border of an acid trip gone bad. I dont know this is my opinion.

I dont like Bright Eyes either. I agree with Seether-ific they arent that good.

What a pity! I still think their music is great cause it's intelligent! That makes Bright Eyes different to other bands whose songs sound all the same. And that's my opinion. |
