You know lately I have been sitting near the television watching the news like I usually do, like many Americans do now days, and seen things that are really disturbing.
First of all the whole thing surrounding Jessica Lynch's capture and then rescue. As you all know there is a book out and now a made for television movie. But there is something seriously wrong with these two handbooks of the media as I call them. Jessica Lynch has said that she wasnt rapped now did she defend herself against her captures upon the attack of her caravan in Iraq. But the book and movie both state that she was. So I ask you this who would know the truth more? Her or the people who created these mediums. As a solution I say dont show the movie on NBC or whatever for the reason it is misrepresentation. For god's sake the US Army is trying to make themselves sound like heroes when they are not.
Secondly the whole ora that the United States forces have in Irag Click Here[/ulr] to look at the casulties in Iraq more than 67% of them has been killed since George W. Bush has stated that the major combat operation in Iraq was over. Now isnt that sad. You wanna know something? Most of our troops were killed guarding Iraqi intrests like banks and markets and such. I ask you why do we have to guard anything that is not ours or support our intrests. I dont know maybe its me but why send troops there to guard when we can let the Iraqi's do that themselves. Hmmmm makes you think aye?
Thirdly George W. Bush got a bill granted for 2 billion dollars to help fund the war in Iraq. I ask you were do they get all this money when we are over 3 trillion dollars in debt? And why doesnt other countries help us with the money and hell maybe some troops? You wanna know where the money comes from? Ill tell you and its us. The tax payers pay that and we lose all of it cause our government thinks it needs to rebuild a thrid world countrie into a first world one. That is bullshit. Leave it as it was when we went there.
Hey I dont want you to get my comments misconscrewed or anything. I love the fact we showed the world we will do to them if they killed innocent children and women but hell we are doing the same. I know the troops tell us we dont understand cause we dont see the faces on the children as they roll into the villages but all I can say is that other countries dont realize what we have here. What problems we have here, the death tolls the whole thing surrounding our stock market and job markets. Although we are a mega power we are very weak and vulnerable both from the air and land. We dont have anythign to defend us but yet we send our only lines of defence over seas to Iraq, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iran and other countries...
Anyways the point here is that this war is costing the American people their lively hood. But hey if our president and his staff doesnt care why should we...right?
