On my next album buying spree, I was thinking about adding Ride the Lightning as my first Metallica album ever. Is that a good choice? What do you recommend?

I recommend it as the best first choice you can make. I tis one of the best Metallica albums out there.

hmm. well its said to be the best Metal album ever is Metallica-Master of Puppets (which i also think is one of the best metal albums) but Ride the Lightning is a good choice also, Fade to Black is my favorite song off that album

Black is my favorite album. The newest one St Anger, well I'm sorry but it sucks. You might also try Nickelback. They are real good.

I think 'Master of Puppets' and 'Relod' are good Metallica albums. Yes those are good. I like Master of Puppets because of Battery and Orion...and I like Reload cause the whole cd is pretty good. |

Yes I have to agree. Well the only bad album they had was S&M. I didnt really like that all that much.
